The vision for 1979 Mission is more vibrant and colorful, reflecting the current (and future) people and communities of the Mission.


OCTOBER 2014: CONTINUED REFINEMENT
The architectural design of 1979 Mission Street has continued to evolve. Material and color have been introduced onto the building exteriors taking cues from those in the surrounding neighborhood.


MARCH 2014: BEFORE & AFTER
After hearing comments and recommendations from the Mission neighborhood stakeholders and City agencies, the architectural design of 1979 Mission Street has evolved. This design iteration shows what the 16th and Mission looks like today and what it could look like after construction. They were also included in our Conditional Use Authorization submittal package to the City in March 2014.

After hearing comments and recommendations from the Mission neighborhood stakeholders and City agencies, the architectural design of 1979 Mission Street continues to evolve.


OCTOBER 2013: PPA RENDERINGS
These early renderings by SOM were included with our Preliminary Project Assessment application to the San Francisco Planning Department in Fall 2013. We have have since received feedback regarding the architectural design from both the community as well as Planning. The design for 1979 Mission Street continues to evolve with the collaborative feedback.
